Test over, thank God

With that test finally over I think I'll be able to take a break and focus more on my goals. I feel relieved that the test is over, but frustrated that I have to wait till June to find out how I did. I don't really feel like it is my year to gain a stripe, but we'll see. It was a very hard test and I don't feel like I did very well.

I am going to run tonight before I get to bed. I hope to do at least a mile, with half a mile of walking. I think that the 6 miles a week might not be too hard to achieve. I am counting the walk times as well, because it is still exercise. I think next week I will bump it up to 8 miles though. I wonder if other runners count walking times when they track their miles. Anyone?

Last night I did one of my yoga DVDs, just to help me calm myself enough to get to sleep. I had a very fitful night, tossed and turned a lot. I kept dreaming that I woke up late and missed my test. Tonight should be a lot better. If not, I'll haul out the DVD again. I'm going to get a DVR in my bedroom so I can record Namaste Yoga. It comes on at very inconvenient times for me.

Hubby's job is a little bit of a stressor right now. He seems unhappy with it, and I think he wants to do something different. Hopefully it will either work itself out, or something better will come along. I know you know all about that, LD.

Thanks for the encouragement and the sweet words. {{hugs}} If you want something to laugh about, go check out Military Mom! Good stuff (if I do say so myself...)

Hey there, sisters. I just discovered yoga recently and really enjoy it. It's a great counter-balance to running.

What yoga DVDs to you follow? It would be handy to have a DVD at home and my kids would certainly get a laugh watching me do yoga. :-)
