Stress Hurts In More Ways Than One

I have a confession to make. Last night I ate 6 Hershey Chocolate truffles. Can you believe that? 6! And some M&Ms this morning. Yuk.

But my guilt motivated me to get on the treadmill and run 2.10 miles today and I felt so great afterwards. I am also going to do one of my yoga DVD's tonight before I go to bed.

Stress levels have been kind of high lately, with my promotion test and all. After tomorrow I'll have that test off my back, and I can better focus on other things. I need to focus on my runs more, because my next career stressor will be my fitness test in May. There's always something, right?

I think stress has a lot to do with how hard I work out. When I am stressed it's harder to get myself motivated at all to work out, but once I do, I tend to overdue it and hurt like heck for the next few days. I am really working on finding a balance.
